Join us for Palate Cleanser, a two-night dinning event presented at Such And Such as part of the 2024 Canberra Art Biennial.

The Biennial is excited to welcome home an old friend, previous Rochford head-chef and currently the amazing force behind Manze Nagesh Seethiah, to present this one-of-a-kind dinner in collaboration with Such And Such Restaurant. Hosted at Such And Such, the two nights of dinners are a celebration of craft, artistry and sculpture as part of the 2024 Canberra Art Biennial. Guests will find an internal exhibition curated by Grace Blake, featuring Jac Bradley, Tully Moore, and Shaun Hayes. The tables within the restaurant will display objects locally designed and hand-crafted including glasses, vases and coasters, and guests will be encouraged to tour the public art sculptures positioned outside for the Biennial. 

SO AND SO @ SUCH AND SUCH

Once every couple of weeks we like throw a bit of Sunday sesh. We ask our friends in the industry to decide on a theme and offer drinks and snacks from 1pm - 5pm. Sometimes they live in Canberra and sometimes they don’t. But the day is always fun and the Monday is always hard.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 6 | ANGUS RADDON AND SWIZZ BRING YOU MUSSEL BEACH

If your looking for mussels you've come to the right place. 

Angus, Gus, Raddon, The Dabbler whatever you want to call him this is a man of many talents. It's probably easier to list the places he hasn't worked in this little town. He is your favourite winemaker extraordinaire behind Vino Friendo but alas he just just wants to show the world his incredible mussels. On the other side of the fence retired bar tender now beer spinner Swizz is keen to share nostalgic treats re imagined in cocktail form to sip along side these protein enriched bivalves.

You can expect mussels two ways, chippies and even bread. Drinks as always are plenty and wine and beer from the list will be available too. Our regular menu is not available, and there will be limited option or those with dietaries as this is a special event.
